Transatlantic Cruise Questions
- How rough is the crossing?
- Spring and autumn repositioning crossings are usually moderate, but the North Atlantic can produce several days of motion. Mid-ship and lower cabins feel it least.
- Why are they so inexpensive?
- The ship has to move between seasons either way, so fares are often low. You pay for a one-way flight home, which offsets part of the saving.
